APC To Loose Benue State As Governor Changes Party
Benue state's Governor, Samuel Ortom Sets To Leave APC As He Says The Door Has Been Opened.
Benue state's Governor, Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Monday hinted that he would soon dump his All Progressives Congress (APC) to join another party.
With him yet to disclose the new party that he intend joining it is obvious that the All Progressive Congress have lost the politician as he doesn't want to go back to his words.
Gov. Samuel Ortom also said he had been given a red card by his party the APC.
The governor made a speech in Makurdi the states capital while swearing in a new appointee in his government, his appointee said that the action of his party now renders him a free man who is waiting outside to take the next step.
He Said:
"Let party or ethnicity not divide us. As for my party, I've been given red card by the all progressive congress and I'm outside the pitch.
So, since I have been given red card and I'm standing outside, I'm now a free man as I can do what ever I want.
So I don't know what will happen next but I'm waiting. If anyone approaches me, then I will tell the Benue people that I'm joining another football club (party)," Gov.Sanuel said while hitting it hard.
